Tarographie is a complete redesign of the Tarot de Marseille deck of cards associated with an introduction booklet.

In this proposal, the standard Tarot illustrations are replaced by abstract symbols, each reflecting the meaning and characteristics of the associated card in an abstract manner. In addition to creating a family of symbols, another goal of this project was to incorporate visual signs on each card, making it easier to learn how to read tarot. For example, the order of the arcanes being helpful to understand and remember each of their symbolics, I opted to utilize the background as a visual help. Each card’s background consists of a dominant color and a note of the color associated with the next card in the series.
